CPSY 621 Psychology of Human Sexuality

This course examines contemporary knowledge and attitudes towards human sexuality. Multiple perspectives will be presented, including psychosocial, cross-cultural and psychobiological. Sexuality across the life span will be examined, including issues pertaining to: biological sexual differentiation, intimacy and communication, gender role development, varieties of sexual relationships and behaviour, contraception, procreative technologies, and sexually transmitted diseases and HIV. (Upper-level liberal studies elective)
