Cancelled Courses

Every effort is made to adhere to the details outlined on this website, although courses, fees, days, hours of instruction, or instructors are subject to change without prior notice. If it is necessary to cancel a course, every effort is made to contact enrolled students.

If you enrol in a course that is subsequently cancelled, you may transfer to another section of that course if an alternate is available; you may transfer to another course if space permits; or you may receive a refund. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process and will be made in the same tender type as the payment. Please contact the ServiceHub at 416.979.5036 if you have any questions.

Course transfers are permitted at the discretion of the University. Students may transfer from one course to another within the same term (if there is space available), provided neither course has held its third session. For Business, Distance Education, and Language (including ESL/EAL) courses, students must transfer before the second session. Students may apply for transfers in person at the ServiceHub, located in the Podium, 1st floor, 350 Victoria Street, or via my.ryerson.ca.

Please note: The online enrolment service will accept transfers only up to the start of class.
