The Estelle Craig ACT II STUDIO – part of The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education’s Programs for 50+ at Ryerson University – is a theatre program and creative drama centre that provides adults 50 and older with training and performance opportunities. Students from all walks of life and all levels of experience participate in a positive, supportive community in which they can learn, create, and perform.

ACT II STUDIO’s unique, non-credited curriculum encourages students to engage in artistically unique work that illuminates social and health issues and challenges stereotypes about aging. The program’s wide range of courses includes:

  • Playwriting
  • Directing
  • Scene study
  • Stage craft
  • Writing
  • Clowning

ACT II STUDIO is accredited by the Toronto Association of Acting Studios (T.A.A.S.).

Ready to Enroll?

Visit Enrollment for detailed information on how to enroll in individual courses. Returning students can enroll in person (at Enrollment Services and Student Fees, 350 Victoria Street), by mail, or online. New students will need to request a Ryerson University Student ID and Ryerson Online Identity in order to enroll online; they can also enroll in person or by mail.
