Transition to Certificates Program

Ryerson University CampusThe Transitions to Certificates program is designed for individuals who have been away from formal education for some time or do not meet the admission criteria for a certificate program. Its goal is to make university education more equitable and accessible by providing opportunities for potential students from groups and communities that are under-represented in post-secondary education.

Students are introduced to the academic expectations of a university instructor and course workload. In addition, our courses and workshops provide a supportive environment where students are encouraged to develop their study skills and academic confidence.

Students who successfully complete the Transitions to Certificates program will be admitted to the certificate program for which they meet the academic requirements, with one or more credits already earned towards their certificate.
