CDFP 559 Photography Workshop in France

In the spring, Ryerson University's G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education will offer a full-credit photography course in Paris, France, designed in cooperation with photography curators and directors of photographic institutions in that city. Combining practical, historical, and theoretical components, this unique program will take full advantage of the tremendous range of cultural resources available in Paris. The two weeks of the course will include lectures and organized visits to the city's great museums, photography collections, and archives not available to the general public. These activities will be combined with supplementary lectures and readings, as well as independent study. Students will be responsible for production of a written journal which documents work seen and lectures given. Equivalent to NPF 559 or PP8 205.
