CSPN 601 Advanced Spanish II

This course is for students who feel comfortable using Spanish, but who wish to perfect their listening comprehension, oral communication, correctness and spontaneity of expression, sensitivity to language registers as well as the written aspects of the language. Newspaper clippings, magazine articles and videos introduce students to various aspects of the Spanish-speaking world. A novel is studied, and medium-length essays and commentaries improve writing and analytical skills. (Lower-level liberal studies elective) (Upper-level liberal studies elective)

Note: All students must take an interview/placement assessment before enrolling in this course.
