How to Apply

If you are a university graduate, from any program, simply enrol in the courses you wish to take, beginning in any term. If you are not a university graduate, contact the coordinators to discuss your situation. To graduate with a Certificate in Publishing, you must register in the Certificate before you complete 50 percent of its curriculum requirements. Registration is free, and you will have access to early registration for courses as a Certificate student. See Publishing FAQ for more information on the application process and registration deadlines.

The program coordinators are available to discuss the program and your course choices with you by email or in person at our Open House.

Fast-Track Your Certificate

Each summer, Publishing Intensive participants complete six courses in the Certificate in Publishing in three months. Most of them complete the last two courses (of their choosing) in the next academic year while pursuing an internship and/or job opportunities.

Internships and Awards

Three weeks into your first Publishing course, you will start receiving the many postings for internships and jobs, as well as information on awards. To apply for the awards, you must be registered in the Certificate in Publishing.
