Retail Management

Retail is a high-energy industry that requires strategy, advanced communication skills, organizational development, and market planning. Dynamic career opportunities range from e-commerce to buying, marketing, and operations, or even the potential to start your own store.

Our programs are tailored to the unique and growing needs of the retail industry, which is the largest in Canada – with an employee base of two million people. The programs are designed to help individuals advance their retailing careers by improving their knowledge base and fostering the highest standards of service excellence.

Effective Fall 2017, you are now able to choose three courses that prepare you for certification in Category Management. Category management is of growing importance to retail and is already well-established in the grocery and packaged goods industry. See the Course Series in Retail Buying and choose CRMG 806 if you wish to pursue this certification.
